THE CHALLENGE
Ark Skincare are established skin care therapists, with salons across London. Ark approached Pomegranate to develop an online brand proposition and e-commerce website to help them promote their new range of specialist 'age appropriate' skin care products.
Ark Skincare needed a website that would extend their online brand presence and boost their client base by giving customers outside of London the opportunity to purchase their acclaimed skincare and luxury pampering products.
THE SOLUTION
Pomegranate ran a brand workshop with the Ark team, to distill the business values and key brand differentiators. With the knowledge gleaned and distilled from the workshop, Pomegranate were able to design and develop a complete e-commerce platform suitable for the launch of Ark's pioneering Age Aware Skincare product range.
The new e-commerse website has proved to be a milestone in Ark's brand development as the company continues to grow on all fronts. The website has proved invaluable, helping Ark to communicate their refreshing approach to skincare treatmrents.
The website provides customers with an immersive shopping experience, allowing users to browse through the entire Ark catalogue online, take an assessment to discern which products are correct for their skin type and keep up to date and interact with the Ark brand via the blog and a range of other feedback methods.
THE OUTCOME
Pomegranate launched ARK Skincare’s new e-commerce website in August 09 and since then they have already been voted one of the worlds Top 8 skincare brands (Tatler Sept09) and have seen sales and regular traffic soar. That’s not a bad first impression!
