Business world is awash in overused buzzwords...
Maybe you've seen some of those obnoxious "motivational" posters hanging around your office, or you've heard them ad nauseum in meetings.Presenters seem to think these terms make them appear "in the loop" and well-read. But while the temptation is great to use these words and phrases as shortcuts, they have become the subject of water cooler and e-mail jokes ("Buzzword Bingo" was the polite name for one of them) and even websites on the game and the language itself.
This list is not comprehensive, but avoidance of these terms will help in designing a presentation that is fresh and interesting instead of tired and humdrum.
But really .... Is it possible to find better alternatives to these overused buzzwords ?

Liz commented at 25 June 2008 Buzzword Bingo funniest thing ever .... At meetings, everyone brings their list, listening intently for buzzwords. The first person to circle five words used in the meeting and to yell “bingo!” was the winner. Unfortunately, there was a downside to the game – senior management began feeling they were being mocked, consultants were confused by the rapt audiences they faced, and in general, the list-users began to be suspected of corporate sedition. Was fun while it lasted.
Mark commented at 25 June 2008 Business buzz words have just tapped into the notion that people don't have attention spans. So meetings have just become verbal power point presentation where buzzwords are the bullet points. Therefore we all must fly that flag while we attempt to esteem the customer since wouldn’t want to wrong-side the demographic.
