THE CHALLENGE
Rumours are a unique fine dining restaurant based in Spain. The concept of the venue is that it is spread over three floors, housing a bookshop, café and a fine dining restaurant.
Rumours required an online presence to raise the awareness of the restaurant, and to ultimately increase online bookings and revenue through both product sales and footfall.
THE SOLUTION
Pomegranate created an online environment which showcased the unique attributes of the café, restaurant and booktique. The website had to communicate to both the local Spanish market and UK market, with a key emphasis on generating more bookings and increasing interest and awareness of Rumours private dining services leading to more evening openings.
Pomegranate was instrumental in the art direction for the photography of the restaurant. Ensuring the unique brand and café environment was communicated to its maximum potential.
THE OUTCOME
The website has introduced new methods of data capture and channels for the restaurant to build upon its marketing database. The introduction of the ‘Latest Rumours’ blog has actively started a dialogue between the business and the customer, therefore creating far more customer interaction. Since the launch of the website Rumours cafe have seen a significant increase in website traffic, generating more organic search results and have been able to build an impressive database of active subscribers.
