RESOURCES: A really inspiring way to keep you at the top of your game and an exciting challenge set by himself, James Lucia. James set the challenge to design 100 UI examples over 100 days, some true beauty achieved! Certainly gave me some ideas.

EXHIBITION: If you’re planning to see an exhibition soon, I highly recommend the retrospective of Alec Soth’s work at the London Science Museum. He’s regarded as one of the leading contemporary American photographers and his work is both poignant and intriguing. “Gathered Leaves” was worth the wait.

ARTICLE: As the year 2016 just started, what I find particularly inspiring is the forecast about the top five digital trends that Accenture released in its report “Technology Vision 2016”. The report explains all the top digital trends that could define the following year in detail. Among Intelligent Automation, Liquid Workforce, Predictable Disruption, Digital Trust and Platform Economy, I find the last one especially interesting since it goes through how non-tech companies are now facing this macroeconomic trend to adapt themselves to digital revolution with new digital strategies.

APP: My inspiration for January is Google Keep – a simple native and web app that makes keeping notes/link/inspiration etc. easier. Easier than Evernote – Google basically stripped it from all additional functions, providing just the core ones – notes, labels/tags, reminders. Shopping lists, to-do’s, movies, books – from now on everything I need noted down lands in my Keep!
